In his early career, Oxford educated, Ginkgo Sequoia, held the positions of Director of operations, for the company that ran the English Institute-of sport and Programme director for the Sheffield philharmonic orchestra. 

Then, twenty years ago, he swapped classical music and sports psychology for a career in mental health and linguistics.

He set up  a Philosophy School and Language Exchange called 'Thirsty Words.'

As an NLP teacher and Hypnotherapist, he also has a unique understanding of how to accelerate the  learning of any new subject.

He is also a yoga teacher and an author, currently writing his fifth self-development book.

 When he's not writing, or teaching

you are likely to find him on his bike.

TYPICAL PROGRAMME 

Arrival day - Welcome - Dawlish Tour- Shopping for your meals-

Dinner - Review your goals.

Other days - 

Breakfast - Morning lessons- Lunch - Afternoon activities  / lessons - Dinner. - leisure

Departure Day - Breakfast & farewell

Nearest airport- Bristol - 1.5 hours.

 If coming from London airports use either:

1  Paddington train station to Dawlish - 2 hours 37 mins. 

2   Waterloo train station to Dawlish - 3.5 hours

(Paddington is a direct train but more expensive.)

Dawlish seaside station 

is a 5 minute walk from your accommodation.

PS . Get off the train at Dawlish, not the Dawlish Warren stop !
(Transport fees not included.)

 Your activity programme will depend on how many hours of study you have chosen. At breaks times students frequently take a walk to the beach and river

 ( 5 minutes walk away ) 

In the afternoons your teacher will accompany you on at least 3 afternoons, to an activity of your choosing. 

In your free time, they will suggest local activities that will ensure you practice your English.  Please note if you choose an activity with costs e.g.  meals, travel, facility hire, entrance fees etc you will also need to pay for your teacher.

Dawlish is in the heart of Devon with more tourist attractions than you could possibly see.

Choose from:

Biking by the river and sea.

Steam train and ferry trip.

Ashburton Monastery visit.

Visit Exeter, Plymouth, Dartmouth

Torquay, Brixham fishing village.

Bude surfing beach.

Dartmoor pony forest.

Dawlish Theatre.
